RO1 - Habitat requisites, specifications and application scenarios
Responsible partner for the realization objective: ASC InSieme
Purposes
"Entering" in contexts where the smart objects use could improve life quality and reduce social costs; more specifically, analyzing the effective introduction of objects in:
- domestic fields of autonomous people for preventing the losing of autonomy, measuring the movement, helping in the daily organization, alerting care-givers and services in emergency cases
- domestic fields of non-autonomous people for personalizing assistance interventions and reduce social costs by direct communication between assisted and care-giver or by reporting indicative parameters (localization, activities, etc.) for optimizing access to structures, services intervention and permanence in the habitat
- community fields (principally Case protette and Centri Diurni) for localizing the users whenever they are outdoor or indoor, so as to avoid control of the evident and high impact entries (gates, enclosures, video-intercoms, anticipated or postponed opening mechanisms) which make the building aspect more of an Institute than a Home
Expected activities
1. Individuation of adequate family unit for the project goals
- with autonomous members or with non-autonomous members
- with services users or with out-of-pocket assistance users
- with family care givers or with privates
2. Administration to these units of interviews which are half-structured on needs and on expectations placed in the new technology use (the public connotation of ASC InSieme, to be the manager of social services on behalf of the Comuni, will allow the direct communication with citizenship).
3. Use of qualified staff (social assistants and educators) for defining manners, organization and following evaluation of the contact results.
4. Focus Group with the staff of some ASC InSieme managed facilities, for the acquisition of confirmations about type, requisites, use of the smart products inside the services.
5. Inspections with engineers and technicians (CIRI ICT, CIRI SDV, TekneHub) into facilities and dwellings.
6. Reunion for analysis and in-depth analysis between all the project actors.
Expected results
1. Individuation of the type of smart products to produce
2. Individuation of the different customization based on the user (autonomous, non-autonomous, with familiar caregiver or private) and based on use context (domestic, community);
3. Individuation of the necessary technical characteristics (type of food, used technology, etc.)
