Research to Business 2017: HABITAT Project presentation

The HABITAT Project has been presented at the 12th edition of R2B in Bologna by Prof. Lorenzo Chiari (CIRI-SdV) within the Workshop "Next Generation Medtech, Smart and Active Living, Inclusive Services and USable TECHnologies" in the Arena Live Research run by ASTER.

The Workshop has been promoted by the Association Clust-ER  Industrie della salute e del benessere, with the aim of presenting nano-biosensors, new nanostructured antibacterial films, "smart materials" for biomedical devices, an integrated approach for the patient with acute neurological lesions and home assistance.

Moreover, the Partners of Habitat Project, within a dedicated exhibition stand, presented the activities and goals achieved to the visitors of R2B.

As part of the Habitat project, TekneHub Laboratory organizes a Co-Design Workshop to test, customize and evaluate everyday objects (chair, presence detector, radio) with the aim to develop practical and beautiful products for the elderly, caregivers and health workers.

It has been presented the project Habitat: IoT per l'Home Assistance the 18th May at EXPOSanità, the 20th international exhibition on the themes of sanity and assistance which it took place in Bologna's fair district.
The project aims to develop and experiment a platform based on the Internet of Things to sustain elder people's health and autonomy.
