Habitat: IoT per l'Home Assistance presented at EXPOSanità

It has been presented the project Habitat: IoT per l'Home Assistance the 18 th May at EXPOSanità, the 20 th international exhibition on the themes of sanity and assistance which it took place in Bologna's fair district.
The project aims to develop and experiment a platform based on the Internet of Things to sustain elder people's health and autonomy.
More specifically, the idea is to enrich some daily life things (like radios, armchairs, clocks, etc) with smart elements which can transform them into smart objects with the capability of interoperating. In this way it will create inclusive and secure life places.
Financed by Regione Emilia-Romagna POR FESR 2014-2020, Habitat counts between his partners CIRI-ICT and CIRI-SDV from Università di Bologna, TekneHub, ASC Insieme and Centuria.
